The Day it all Changed

Hello
2 months ago I started eating 'Gluten-free, Sugar-free &
Dairy-free' (GSD-free). This was decided after a visit to my homeopath were I complained about my constant snotty nose headaches and tight chest.
Even though I am only 11 years old, I succeeded for 6 weeks with incredible results.


You want to know happened, don't you?
My mood was happier which made life easier. My creative side woke up and had fun experimenting with ingredients that were GSD-free. Playing sport was now painless, as my energy levels were higher, and I even lost weight!


Confession
Ok, so although the first 6 weeks were worthwhile, the following weeks became more trying. This happened to be during my school holidays and we were staying in a place that did not have my 'now-familiar' ingredients.
Even though I was eating food that was not good for me, I was surprised at how uncomfortable I felt. I had stomach aches, headaches and sleepless nights.


Round 2
The adjustment back to my eating plan was not easy. I made a deal with myself that I could have non-GSD-free food day, once a week.
So, I am happy to report that my priorities have refocussed and I would like to inspire and motivate other children all over the world with yummy recipes.
